On the top of a gently sloping hill, 4,5km away from Porto Heli, this newly built house is part of 2 neighboring independent and elegant villas on an idyllic 4,000 m2 plot (the second villa is not for rent, it is used by the owners). Located in a quiet scenery, the house is overlooking Kounoupi beach and its homonymous island with astonishing views of the islands of Hydra and Dokos. 
Villa Emmelia is designed by respecting the local architecture (use of local pebbled stone) with cotemporary, minimal, stylish and comfortable interiors.

It consists of 3 levels. The 2 upper floors represent the main house of villa Emmelia while the lower floor its guesthouse.

The ground floor features an open plan kitchen with a seating and a dining area around a fireplace. The kitchen is well equipped with all the necessary facilities, including a dishwasher, washing machine, microwave and filter coffee maker.
The spacious unified living and dining room opens up to a large covered terrace ideal for breakfast and home cooked meals with awesome views to the Greek landscape and to a complex of islands. This outdoor space links to an open and a covered section. The open section has a large swimming pool (length 13m, width 5m, max. depth 2.4m) along with a pool side shower which is perfect for sunbathing and for enjoying the breathtaking limitless view to the horizon. 

​The  swimming pool is at exclusive use by the guests. This area extends to a covered section. It comprises, on one side, a protected seating area for relaxation time  and on the other side a bbq corner/ bar with a gaz grill and a mini bar for preparing meals and refreching  drinks at all hours of the day!

THE GUESTHOUSE

THE MAIN HOUSE

The Guesthouse, situated at a lower level than Villa Emmelia, benefits from the same astonishing view facing the sea and the islands. It is independent and autonomous as a whole. The spacious 85m2 Guesthouse can accomodate up to 6 guests. It consists of a master bedroom with an ensuite bathroom  and two other bedrooms sharing a large bathroom. There is also an open space living room with a kitchen - dining corner. Its outdoors covered terrace undoubtedly offers unforgettable and relaxing moments while enjoying an amazing view of the scenery. The access to the swimming pool and the outdoor spaces is immediate.

DISCOVER PORTOHELI

Porto Heli, located on the eastern side of Peloponnese, is set in an area of outstanding natural beauty. It is a summer resort town in the municipality of Ermionida in the southeastern part of Argolis, Greece. It is situated on a bay of the Argolic Gulf, 203 kilometres southwest of Athens and 40 km southeast of Nafplio. The island of Spetses is located 6 km south of Porto Heli. 

Surrounded by rolling pine clad hills, the village is situated on a vast bay, providing one of the safest natural harbors in Greece, which has been transformed into a miniature cosmopolitan port without having lost its traditional charm.

The lovely village center offers a wide variety of shops, tavernas, coffee shops and bars as well as services such as: banks, drugstore, smaller grocery stores, super market, open-air cinema and newspaper kiosks. There is a medical center located in Kranidi, 7 km away.

Portoheli is also a paradise for water sport enthusiasts. With 18 miles of beaches & coves, there is always somewhere new to go for a swim or explore by boat.

Ski, scuba diving, rent a boat services to nearby bays and beaches are easily available. The location is ideal for boat tours to Hydra, Spetses, Poros or Monemvassia or for car tours to significant archeological sites that are situated in the Argolis area. From the Sanctuary of Asklepius and the ancient theatre of Epidaurus to the Treasury of Atreus (tholos tomb) at Mycenae, this part of Peloponnese is also known for its beautiful seaside town of Nafplio and the famous vineyards of Nemea.

The mild climate, the unforgettable sunsets, the innumerable cultural activities, ensure that Porto Heli is a popular holiday resort throughout the year.
